Founded in 1984, Nike Communications is a NYC-based PR agency specializing in the marketing and promotion of luxury and lifestyle products. We have a world-class client base and an outstanding internship program. Our interns come from top-flight colleges including Vanderbilt, Brown, Dartmouth, UCLA Berkeley, Yale, Princeton, Lafayette, Duke, UNC Chapel Hill, Syracuse, George Washington, Washington University, Kentucky, NYU, Marist, FIT, Wagner and several European universities.

For students who have ever dreamt about working at a high-powered NYC PR agency with glamorous, well-known clients—like GEOX, Range Rover, Moët & Chandon, Esprit, Hugo Boss Fragrances, Clinique and ECKO—this is their chance to make dreams come true. Our Intern Program will provide the opportunity to do exactly what PR professionals do—write press releases, pitch stories to the media, plan events—and be treated as a full member of our account executive team.

Typically our intern program includes 8-12 students from colleges around the country and from Europe. We look for motivated, articulate students who are interested in PR or marketing, with a passion to excel.

Interns are individually assigned to account teams and work under an Account Executive to ensure an exciting, challenging, hands-on educational experience. Each intern and his/her Account Executive develop a series of meaningful goals and projects to make the experience productive and rewarding.

Interns are encouraged to set ambitious goals; we supervise and mentor them so they can succeed. We train them on PR tools including specialized databases and expose them to all aspects of PR. We treat them as if they are employees: they attend all staff meetings, team meetings, client meetings, events (whenever possible) and have time-critical deliverables.
