Debuting with @sothebys on March 1, ‘Bottle No. 1’ of the new “1969 Anniversaire Limited Edition Collection” of Grande Champagne Cognac comes housed in a crystal-cut bottle wrapped with 24-karat gold leaf, and encased in a leather trunk emblazoned with the brand’s iconic symbol of Le Croix de Lorraine, the historic French emblem of courage, honour and perseverance. It’s the only bottle in the collection to also carry Mr. Carter’s engraved signature, and the first to be made available for public sale.

Proceeds will benefit the @shawncartersf, the charity launched by JAY-Z to help individuals facing socio-economic hardships further their education at institutions of higher learning.
